“I always believe NEVER SAY NEVER!”

“HOPE… I think it’s the most precious thing a person can have and yet so many are absolutely ruthless in wrenching it away without a second thought.”

There are 7 whom Allaah will shade in His shade on the Day when there is no shade except His shade- one is Two persons who love each other for Allaah’s sake-and they meet and part in Allaah’s cause only… [Bukhari]

“Do Not Despair Of The Mercy Of Allaah”

Sometime we can’t always be with the person whom we love. No matter what we plan; Allaah is the best of planners. It can be love with a mother, father, brother, sister, child, friends, family, classmates, teachers, or any other person. Sometimes, we fall so much into this world, thinking the person opposite of us will be with us forever, but nay, once the time will go by, its gone forever. ‘The true value of a person is not realized until they are gone.’ A person may pass away, or we will never be able to meet them, or we might go far away in distance.

We go to different institutions to learn knowledge especially Deeni Knowledge. “We are always concerned of Worldly knowledge, however, if we really study Deeni knowledge, then the world would come to our feet.” In reality this is so true, if we prefer Allaah above all things, Allaah will give everything to us, from experience I can say this, and many will agree with me also. When we meet someone in the path of Allaah, our love would always remain strong and forever. Sometimes, we may not know a single thing about the person we’re speaking with; except that Deen, is the only common thing, that’s when we can say “US/our- minds think alike”

In and out of these institutions, in the different stages of our lives…. we meet hundreds of different people -each unique in their own physique, character, behavior, etc. Some we don’t get attached with. Others we do, and although they may be far in distance, but they shall always remain close to our heart-no matter what may happen or comes in between. Always remember, the true friends are the only ones who will remain forever, but its very hard to find them… We should place our heart in the hands of Allaah, and He will place it in those certain individuals who will have the love of Allaah in their hearts.

It is these certain specific picked & chosen Insaan, who bring a change into us, through the will of Allah. Its mentioned that we should be careful who we choose to be friends with, because ‘our companionship has an effect on us’ ‘Sohbat Ka asar perta hai’

I was looking for this Hadeeth, couldn’t find it, and so I posted this post and then I was sent this Hadeeth: “A good friend and a bad friend are like a Perfume-seller and a blacksmith: The perfume-seller might give you some perfume as a gift, or you might buy some from him, or at least you might smell its fragrance. As for the blacksmith, he might singe your clothes, and at the very least you will breathe in the fumes of the furnace.” (Bukhari and Muslim) Similarly, when we have friendship with good people it will make us beautiful, whereas, if we hang out with people that don’t have akhlaaq/character,etc, we will also become like them.

The affect of good/bad will happen inside of us, namely our heart & mind will be affected, to such an extent that whoever we speak to, we would want to be like them, and we would always wish to be with them, in every aspect of life……. but in many circumstances we are unable to be with them.

That’s called “TRUE FRIENDSHIP” when your friend has such a deep effect on you -as a person, and your inner self -as in your heart and mind. We long to be with them, we love sharing things with them, even if its the minutest of things. We can laugh and joke around, care for each other, have a shoulder to cry on. We can reach them at any point, they always there for us- its like they’re on a call of duty 24/7….. Just a click/msg away. These friends are like 1 in a Trillion. 99.99% hard to find. That’s why we crave to be with them. They make us closer to Allaah. They bring the best out of us, they change us, and make us better, they always by our side, we find joy and peace by speaking to them.

They are the ones who are the candlelight in the dark tunnel of our life. The life jacket in the midst of the ocean of this world. “This world is a deep ocean, if we fall into it, we will drown. But if we make our A’maals/deeds a strong & loaded ship then we will easily cross over in peace to the coast on the other side which is the Aakhirah.”

When we are with these ‘TRUE FRIENDS’ we don’t really admire them, we just take advantage of them, not knowing their status and value, not worrying about them, not thanking them for how much they do for us. At the end of the day when its time to say goodbye, with tears in the eyes, by singing and saying “Al-Widaa, agar hum se koi khata ho gayi ho, to…Al-widaa.’

It is then that we can say NEVER SAY NEVER.

To MY TRUE FRIENDS: If we don’t meet in this temporary world, than definitely know that Inshallah, I pray that we meet and we are together in the Eternal, JANNAH, where I will just think to have you close by, and there you go……. You will be right in front of me with beauty that you’ll see the rays of love from my heart to yours. –as we have loved each other and parted only for Allaah’s sake.

P.S. “I Hope I Am Worth Being Your True Friend!” -{US}
